Conducting ethological studies

DSCF4970Because the bibliography is never exhaustive, some questions require specific research. Bankiva sets up ethological studies:

  • by formulating a scientific question,
  • by establishing an experimental protocol,
  • making observations and analyzing results,
  • writing a final report.

These studies can be used to measure the impact of a new development on a farm (on the animal, the farmer, performance), to compare two conditions (with and without environmental enrichment, for example), to gain a better understanding of the risk factors in a particular situation, to monitor a wild population, etc.
