With a team of agricultural engineers and ethologists specialized in farm animals, the Bankiva office can set up experimental trials.
New breeding practices can thus be tested: feeding methods, cognitive or locomotor enrichment, modification of the social group, etc. The implementation of supervised and monitored trials provides precise information on the various impacts of the new practice on the animals and the farm, using zootechnical, economic, ergonomic and ethological indicators. These results provide decision aids for the implementation of innovative practices, and the identification of constraints and prerequisites improves subsequent deployment.
Bankiva is recognized by the French Ministry of Research and Innovation as a scientific expert, enabling it to declare the amounts of R&D operations eligible for the research tax credit (CIR).
